Laser Skin Resurfacing

The Erbium YAG Laser is typically used for deeper lines and wrinkles, acne scarring and sundamage.  It offers a shorter recovery time compared to CO2 lasers. It can be fully ablative (removes the entire top layer of skin) or fractionated (see below) depending on the handpiece used.

The LaseMD Laser is a fractionated laser that treated columns of skin while leaving the surrounding skin intact allowing for faster healing. This is less invasive than fully ablative lasers. BBL is often combined with LaseMD for optimal correction of skin texture and tone. Light settings may be used for a "laser peel".
