PDO AfterGlo is a hydrating skin booster made of polydioxanone (PDO) surgical sutures, like those used in thread lifts, in powder form and Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA can smooth rough surfaces and provide a protective layer to help skin retain moisture.
It also strengthens the skin to improve elasticity and resiliance. The PDO powder is mixed with sterile water and HA and can be topically applied and microneedled into the skin. It can also be used with other modalities as an add on such as our Thermo-Smooth treatment. PDO AfterGlo can be used to treat:
- Fine lines
- Skin texture abnormalities
- Skin dullness
- Dryness
- We first cleanse your skin and then apply a chemical peel.
- After neutralizing the peel, we will lightly microneedle the PDO into the skin.
- You will be mildly pink for a day or two.
